Slow Cooker Course
Our slow cooker course has come to a close after 6 meals and 6 weeks! We had a fantastic time and our participants really enjoyed cooking the creative dishes our education team, nutritionists and professional chefs designed.
We gave everyone the chance to gain some confidence in their cookery skills and increase their knowledge around healthy eating and food waste. People learnt practical skills with our online live cook-a-long sessions taught by our chef. Our in-house nutritionist also gave out helpful healthy eating advice as well as some great food waste tips. We delivered a slow cooker to everyone who participated to use at home and cook our super simple recipes with.

Our six dishes we cooked together were:
- Whole chicken 3 ways or whole cauliflower
- Burrito bowl (veggie/bean rice dish) with salsa
- Sausage casserole
- Beef/veggie stew and dumplings
- Fish/veg curry
- Squash soup and roti bread
