Susannah Day - Chair

After doing her graduate training at Unilever Susannah spent over 20 years as a strategic planning director working in advertising agencies and brand consultancies across Asia and Europe. She has worked on developing global brand strategies for brands as diverse as American Express and Amnesty International. Susannah is a fellow of the school of social entrepreneurs. Passionate about food and appalled at food waste, she co-founder of The Social Drinking Company. She also works on a social project moving people out of crisis and back into work and society for Shepherds Star.
Susannah joined the board of trustees at UKHarvest in 2019, having worked with the CEO to develop brand strategy and ensure that UKHarvest continues to be differentiated, useful, and relevant in the changing charity sector and society in general.

Amy Sim

Head of Operations at Chichester Cathedral

Amy, a Keele graduate, is Head of Operations at Chichester Cathedral. Looking after everything from Visitor Experience and Retail to IT and Health and Safety.

With over 15 years’ experience in hospitality, accommodation, and visitor experience Amy has a track record of driving positive operational change. Having previously worked for Continuum Attractions, Antic London, and Fuller, Smith and Turner in London and the Southeast, Amy has been working for Chichester Cathedral for 6 years and joined UKHarvest in 2023.

Having been a director for the Chichester BID for several years Amy joins UKHarvest with a passion for community-building, sustainability, and technology. She is proud to have developed a number of community focussed programs at Chichester Cathedral including Hometech which, lead entirely by volunteers, aims to reduce digital exclusion by providing training and encouragement in using technology in a safe way, as well as developing a corporate volunteering program.
