The Barn, Little London Launch!

We are wishing The Barn, Little London huge luck and success with their launch today, who have continued to support us throughout their venture.

We have been watching from the side-lines in awe as Emma Schwarz has totally transformed the old Dyson King barn as well as the neighbouring Philip Stroud restaurant into a stunning new café, food hall and wellness barn in the heart of Chichester. The business was set up during lockdown to help support independent growers and local food producers with the launch of a successful drive through food collection service.

Since April a 10% handling fee has been added to all these food orders which has generously been given to UKHarvest to support our food rescue work in Sussex.

The Barn, Little London has blossomed into a food hub with new espresso bar and eatery to champion 40 independent food companies, most of which are within a 30-40 mile radius of Chichester. To echo our food rescue ethos Emma has also managed to salvage many of the shop fittings using upcycled furniture and even dustbin lid as pendant lights to highlight the need to avoid any wastage!

We wish Emma and her team so much luck as she opens the door on this new Chichester venture and thank her again for the support she continues to provide UKHarvest and the work we do in Sussex.
