Nourish Hub Cafe is Open!

Following the incredible success of Nourish Hub in Shepherd's Bush, UKHarvest have opened a new Community Cafe in Bognor, Nourish Hub Cafe.

Standing by the main aims of UKHarvest; to prevent food waste, to provide access to affordable food, increase food security, support food literacy and cooking skills and increasing community connection, Nourish Hub Cafe is bringing people together in the local community, using food as the medium.

Unlike Nourish Hub, the new cafe is operating as a social enterprise, to help financially support UKHarvest's food redistribution operations across the South of England.

We would love to invite you to come and have a coffee, a slice of cake or a hot meal from Monday - Friday 9.30am-4pm. We're aiming to ensure that the food we offer is accessible to everyone with tea starting at £2 and coffee at £2.75, it's a great space to come and meet with other members of the community.

The lunchtime offerings start with Jacket potatoes from £3.50 through to vegetable pasta bolognese at £7.50. There will be a dish on the menu made from rescued surplus food every day, along with cakes and other refreshments until 4pm.

UKHarvest also operate a Community Grub Club from The Phoenix Centre. The next Community Grub Club is taking place on 10th February.

Emma at The Phoenix Centre shared that 'This is an amazing addition to The Phoenix Centre. We've wanted a community focused refreshments offering for some time. As we already have such a great working relationship with UKHarvest, this feels like a fantastic collaboration and we're so excited to see what the new Community Cafe brings to our community centre.'
