Calling all families with children aged 4 – 16!
Love dancing, making music and being creative or fancy trying something new like martial arts or a new sport? Enjoy some complimentary pizza, or a hot meal and refreshments as you discover the amazing range of children's holiday clubs available throughout Crawley and West Sussex this winter. *Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Get Your HAF Code and sign up for a Holiday Club for FREE!
Meet the activity clubs that have FREE HAF-funded spaces available. This means that those eligible for Benefit-Related Free School Meals can sign up for an extraordinary holiday club at absolutely no cost. The event is open to all, with plenty for everyone to be involved in, completely free of charge.
Activities include:
- Dance with KC’s Dance and Gym,
- Soft archery, fencing and dodgeball with Horsham Sports Services
- Music workshops and performances with Audio Active
- Interactive art with Creative Crawley
- Puppet making with Bigfoot Arts Education South
- Taekwondo, Hapkido self-defence, Knife Awareness and breaking boards and bricks with Grandmaster Finch from Authentic Taekwondo Association
- Christmas craft with VIM Clubs
- Holiday experiences with Junior Adventure Groups
- Sensory room and outdoor play with Maddie's Playground
- Rock climbing with Everyone Active
- Make music with West Sussex Music
- Dance performance with The Y.E.S Project powered by DanceHub CIC
- Football with Whizz Kids Holiday Club
- Face and nail painting with Totz2Teenz
PLUS UKHarvest's very own chefs and food waste experts will be on-site to launch their HAF @ Home box, provide engaging cookery demonstrations and live cook-alongs that will leave your tastebuds wanting more.
PLUS We'll also have local support services on hand to provide information on a range of social issues, including St Johns Ambulance, West Sussex Fire and Rescue, Free Shop Crawley, Sussex Police, Home Start Crawley, Crawley Girl Guides, West Sussex Waste Prevention & Crawley Citizens Advice Bureau.

Authentic Taekwondo Association
ATA is a martial arts school run by Grandmaster Finch and dedicated Masters, who practice and teach traditional Taekwondo and Hapkido for self-defence for the street. This builds confidence and self-esteem, encourages physical fitness, improves mental health and empowers you. We encourage family groups and give discounts as a way of learning new skills and growing together.

Horsham Sports Services
Horsham Sports Services is a sports coaching and development company that aims to increase the quality and quantity of sport and active opportunities available to people, particularly those located within the Horsham District area. To do this we work with schools, clubs, leisure facilities and other agencies with the objective of serving all sections of the community including children and young people, older people and disabled people.

West Sussex Music
West Sussex Music provides high quality and inclusive music education and performance opportunities for all children and young people across the county.
We ensure schools have access to quality-assured music practitioners that can provide instrumental lessons, whole-class first access programmes, lunchtime and after school music activities, workshops, singing projects.
Outside of school, children and young people enjoy making music with us in bands, choirs, holiday activities and orchestras at every stage of their musical development.

Whizz Kids Holiday Club
Whizz Kids Holiday Club is Ofsted registered, fun, safe and engaging club with a wide variety of daily activities ranging from sports to arts and crafts. Each location has a wide range of equipment to help aid activities throughout the day. We are proud to be inclusive here at whizz kids and have a great reputation of adhering to everyone’s needs ranging from the autistic spectrum to mutism. After 20+ years we are looking to expand further with locations already in Shoreham, Chichester, Horsham, Caterham and Steyning we hope to provide children with a fun filled holiday and parents the reassurance that your child is well looked after while you work.

UKHarvest
Anyone attending who receives benefit related free school meals can take home a UKHarvest HAF PAK filled with fantastic ingredients, recipes, access to online videos, arts and crafts material and invigorating exercise ideas. It’s a brilliant way to see what UKHarvest is all about, and for us to share our ideas for you to try at home.

Bigfoot Arts Education South
Bigfoot Arts Education provides schools with a wide range of drama workshops and theatre based assemblies that enrich and extend curriculum subjects, making learning fun, creative and engaging for children.
Children engage with our work because they are fully immersed in the creative learning journey we produce for them. We enable them to question, cooperate and empathise in order to learn whilst having fun and feeling safe.

The Y.E.S Project powered by DanceHub CIC
The Y.E.S (Youth Empowered by StreetDance) project engages, empowers and inspires inactive young people through StreetDance. We aim to listen to our young people and design our sessions around Youth Voice, develop key skills such as creativity leadership and teamwork and improve dance techniques and confidence. We run fully funded community and schools-based Y.E.S project sessions in different locations across Crawley and the wider Sussex area which are open to anyone aged 8-16 years old.

VIM Clubs
VIM Clubs are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment at our school holiday clubs, combining child led play with a range themed activities to suit all ages.
We encourage our children to take part in outdoors activities and healthy snacks are provided at every club. We welcome all children aged 4-11 and are proud to be a provider for the HAF holiday scheme.

AudioActive
Making Music, Changing Lives! AudioActive have been providing a safe space for young people to make music, explore their artistry, while looking after their wellbeing since 1999. After establishing a strong presence in Brighton, we are now expanding to other areas in Sussex to ensure that a vibrant, thriving music scene is available to everyone in surrounding areas. As well as providing support to grassroots talent, we are offering artist development opportunities to help young music creators establish a sustainable professional career in the music industry.
Who can join?
All young people aged 4 – 16 are invited! The day will be particularly beneficial for those children with a HAF code* as there are opportunities to sign up for fully funded holiday club spaces.
HAF codes are available to those receiving Benefit Related Free School Meals and can be collected from school or West Sussex County Council.
What's the full schedule?
Our activity providers listed above will be putting on drop in workshops and performances throughout the day so turn up whenever is convenient!
We will also have a main stage, where Holiday Clubs and Youth Groups will perform and showcase their work.

My child does not have a HAF Code, can they still attend?
Absolutely! We welcome all children aged 4 - 16 to come and try a holiday activity club.
What is a HAF Code and how do I find mine?
All children eligible for Benefit Related Free Schools are given a HAF code. If you do not have your HAF code, please check your award letter from the Free School Meal Team in the first instance. If the letter does not show your HAF code, you can ask your child’s school office or email us at haf@westsussex.gov.uk.
Do I need to pre-book a specific time?
No. Families are welcome to drop in throughout the day and stay as long as they like. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
How do I get there?
We encourage you to use our free shuttle bus, kindly provided by MetroBus, of which details can be found here. Car parking is available on-site.
