What happened last year?
Who can join?
All young people aged 4 – 16 are invited! The day will be particularly beneficial for those children with a HAF code* as there are opportunities to sign up for fully funded holiday club spaces.
HAF codes are available to those receiving Benefit Related Free School Meals and can be collected from school or West Sussex County Council.
My child does not have a HAF Code, can they still attend?
Absolutely! We welcome all children aged 4 - 16 to come and try a holiday activity club.
What is a HAF Code and how do I find mine?
All children eligible for Benefit Related Free Schools are given a HAF code. If you do not have your HAF code, please check your award letter from the Free School Meal Team in the first instance. If the letter does not show your HAF code, you can ask your child’s school office or email us at haf@westsussex.gov.uk.
Do I need to pre-book a specific time?
No. Families are welcome to drop in throughout the day and stay as long as they like. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
This event has been set with support from West Sussex County Council, as part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
