The Course

This 1:1 cookery skills course, provides a bespoke service with individualised support. Receive a 20-minute phone call or Zoom with our in-house Nutritionist, each week, for 6 weeks. You will be set a ‘recipe challenge’ each week and will receive a recipe card in the post, along with an easy to follow, fun and engaging cook-a-long video.

There is flexibility on days and times to suit your availability.

This programme is suitable for those that need more support, who might be new to cooking or haven’t cooked in a long time. Our friendly and supportive Nutritionist will tailor the programme to suit any special dietary requirements and/or food allergies.

Who can join?

This course is suitable for individuals who want to gain confidence in the kitchen. You can try new recipes, develop cookery skills, grow knowledge around healthy eating and food waste. Our aim is for you to have fun learning in a supportive and safe environment either via telephone or Zoom (whichever you prefer). We can cater for varying levels of kitchen equipment so, don't worry if you don't feel your kitchen facilities are appropriate, we can adapt to even a very basic kitchen.

This course is available for Adur and Worthing Residents only.

We encourage those with a support worker to take part in this programme together. 

How it works

REGISTER: Register and you'll be contacted by our Nutritionist. 

PLAN WEEKLY CALLS: Our Nutritionist will arrange a convenient time and date each week.

PLAN WEEKLY RECIPE: During your weekly call, you'll decide on a recipe, which will be sent to you in the post and via email, as well as a cook-a-long video.

COOK: Follow the cook-a-long video in your own time, at your convenience.

REVIEW:  Each weekly call we will review how it went with you and you can share your cooking experiences and photos of your dishes
